Regarding Amendment to Bylaw 5
I am pleased to inform you that the Call Item [that would have capped Virginia’s voting strength at 40%] that was to be voted upon at this week’s Annual USTA Meeting has been postponed until the Semi-Annual Meeting in September. The National governing body has remanded the Call Item back to the Section for consideration. The message was very clear: this is a Sectional issue which should be resolved at a Sectional level. Other Sections have faced the same challenges and have resolved them. I believe that our Section can do just as well. Read More... |

Hosted by George Christoforatos, the tennis director of Culpeper Sport and Racquet Club, this 9am-4pm workshop was organized to train high school tennis coaches in the Mid-Atlantic section on drills they can conduct in their programs.
