Tennis Festivals & Play Days

Tennis Festivals & Play Days showcase the unparalleled health and social benefits of tennis in a fun and dynamic way while achieving three main goals:
- Introduce new players to the game and your local programs
- Generate excitement in players
- Create awareness about the USTA and its programs
Tennis Festival – An event to attract people with little or no tennis experience to the sport. This is an all ages event.
Play Day – An event to introduce competition in a low-pressure setting where results are not documented. This is a 10 and Under event.
Tennis Festivals are easy to organize and provide a great platform to promote your local tennis programs to and increase sign-ups among players of all ages and abilities. These events can be hosted at any public facility and should feature two to three hours of tennis instruction, interactive games, and attractions for player of all ages and abilities.
Play Days are designed to encourage all levels of players to get out and participate in a fun, low pressure, yet competitive environment.
Play days are welcoming and fun ways to experience the social aspects of competition. By rotating opponents in short continuous matches within a 2-3 hour period, kids have multiple opportunities to play against a variety of players and skill levels. This additional play can promote a sense of achievement and help prepare them for future competition, as well as help kids to develop and refine their skills in a fun and spirited atmosphere, while amplifying their love of the game.
