Start Your Own Adopt-a-Unit Campaign!
USTA Adopt-A-Unit Needs You!
Whether you're one team or twenty teams strong, we need your help! We have over 100 units of deployed service members in Afghanistan in varying sizes waiting to be adopted by our tennis communities. Simply register at usta.com/military and we will assign you a unit. Once you have your unit, start collecting care package items such as hand sanitizers, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, foot powder, disposable razors, socks, hard candies and letters of support. Or, collect $10 per person to purchase the supplies and cover shipping costs. For every person participating, you can support one soldier serving in harm's way. Once the items are collected, simply mail it away to your assigned unit. In turn, the USTA will mail portable tennis equipment to the unit. Consider contacting your local tennis center and ask if you can put a collection box in the office and spread the word about your project. Thanks for supporting our military overseas!
