Jon Hyman of Lynchburg, VA had the opportunity to meet Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf at the Genworth 37th Annual Virginia 10 Miler on September 24, 2010 at Riverfront Park in downtown Lynchburg.  Agassi even recognized Jon and the Bounce Back program in his keynote speech.

The Bounce Back program was founded by Jon Hyman in 2009 as a special service project.  Bounce Back is a volunteer program with the purpose of recycling and supplying used tennis balls to nursing homes for medical walkers and therapy, to animal shelters as toys, and to public schools.  The program has recently expanded to Sacramento, CA.

The Virginia Tennis Foundation supports Bounce Back’s efforts to collect, recycle, reuse and distribute used tennis balls in Virginia. If you live and play tennis in the Lynchburg area, be on the look-out for the program's recycling containers with the "Bounce Back" logo.  For contact information and more about the program, view the Bounce Back brochure  or send an email to CLOAKING .
